Who we are

Stay Koufonisia is run by the host, George Simos, a private individual in Greece, at Koufonisia 84300, Greece. Write to us at geosimos91@gmail.com. Each home is registered for short-term rental in Greece: Cozy House, ΑΜΑ 01245563375; Double Room, ΑΜΑ 00003401260.

Booking directly

• The form on each home's page sends us a request, not a booking. Nothing is booked, and you owe nothing, until we confirm your stay by email.
• Our confirmation gives the price, how and when to pay, and the cancellation terms. Your stay is booked once you accept them and pay as agreed. The price we confirm is the full price, including taxes and the climate resilience fee.
• Because your stay is for set dates, the 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(l)). The cancellation terms in our confirmation apply instead.
• The site takes no payment and never asks for card details. If anyone asks you to pay in a way our email didn't set out, check with us first at geosimos91@gmail.com.
• The calendar on the site shows nights already booked as best we can, but it can lag behind. We confirm availability in our reply.

Booking on Airbnb

If you book on Airbnb, your booking is made through Airbnb and Airbnb's terms apply, including its payment, cancellation and support rules.

Your stay

Each home has a maximum number of guests, shown on its page. We describe and photograph the homes as they are; if something important changes before your stay, we'll tell you.

You must be 18 or older to book. You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause beyond normal wear, and for keeping to the maximum number of guests and the house rules we send with your confirmation.

Things beyond our control

We are not responsible when a stay is disrupted by events neither of us controls, such as cancelled ferries, severe weather or official orders. Our confirmation says what happens to payment in those cases.

Using the site fairly

Don't send requests in someone else's name, flood the booking form, or try to disrupt or break into the site. We limit how many requests the form accepts in a short time.

Your data

The Privacy Policy explains what we do with the details you send us, and the Cookie Policy what the site keeps in your browser.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, or any responsibility the law does not allow us to limit. We are responsible for foreseeable loss you suffer because we broke these terms or were careless.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version at the top shows when. A stay we have already confirmed keeps the terms agreed for it.

Law and complaints

Greek law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protections its consumer law gives you. Disputes about the stay itself go to the Greek courts with jurisdiction over Koufonisia; for other disputes, you can also use the courts where you live.
